SISTEM MONITORING TEMPERATUR SUHU PADA PEMBIBITAN BUDIDAYA JAMUR TIRAM BERBASIS ANDROID

Abstract

In the cultivation of Oyster Mushrooms need special care because oyster mushrooms are susceptible to disease, so that the growth of fungi will be inhibited, one of which is less sterile material during the nursery process that can affect the growth of the fungus. Another problem faced is the difficulty of estimating the temperature conditions during the baglog sterilization process in the furnace. This also affects the development of these seeds. So for that the researchers designed a system that can monitor temperature automatically using Arduino and DS18B20 water proof temperature sensor. In its implementation, the sensor is placed in a furnace containing a cooked baglog, then the sensor will detect the temperature. The data obtained by the sensor is converted into digital form on the microcontroller then the microcontroler will process the data and send it to the Smartphone. This study uses the Rapid Application Development system development method which consists of three stages, namely Requirement Planning, Design Workshop, Implentation. Researchers create applications using Android Studio using the Java programming language. Testing applications to match the objectives to be achieved, researchers use testing with the black box testing method. The results of this study are an application of a temperature monitoring system in the cultivation of oyster mushrooms that serves to facilitate the farmers in the process of breeding oyster mushrooms in order to get more maximum results.
