About the Journal

NUsantara Islamic Economic Journal is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (January and July) by Islamic Economic Department Faculty of Economic and Business Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic University (Unisnu) Jepara, Central Java, Indonesia in collaboration with Association of Islamic Economists Department of Nahdlatul Ulama University Association (see the MoU manuscript). The journal is intended to be a dissemination platform of articles reporting the results of research and reviews on islamic Economics and Business. The journal blends the best discussion in the field of economics and business, making it a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, educators, academicians, students, and policymakers.


The journal welcomes manuscripts in the various topics including, but not limited to, Islamic economics and business, Islamic banking, finance and accounting, Sukuk, Islamic microfinance, Islamic philanthropy (zakat, waqf, and sadaqah), Supply chain management, Halal industry (foods, products, tourism), Management and Business, Creative economics, Entrepreneurship, Financial Technology, Auditing, and Economic thoughts. By promoting critical discussion on the current issues of these areas, the journal represents an excellent forum for highligthing the profile of economics and business on both national and international levels.
